Toma’s Diabetic Diet is written by Toma Grubb and Ed Prestwood with help from friends on our advisory board . I am a type II diabetic and vocal advocate of managing type II diabetes through intelligent lifestyle. I have suffered from the wild ups and downs of my blood sugar levels just like many of you. I give you my own compelling account of how I dealt with my serious diabetic issues – issues that nearly took my life. And the book has a happy ending: I regained my health by seizing control over my diet. Today, I maintain healthy blood glucose levels without the need for any medications. Nutribase software has played a major role in my success.“Toma’s Diabetic Diet” discusses the issues that will help you manage your type II diabetes. Topics include the top ten tips for enhanced health, Omega 3 fish oils, the Glycemic Index of foods (including a food listing), managing your food’s protein, carbohydrates, and fat ratios, (I learned the PCF ratio concepts from ED Prestwood and NutriBase) the differences between “good” and “bad” fats, the value of fiber in your diet, exercise, and the need for sufficient water intake. I also discuss important issues like sodium, potassium, vitamins, sweeteners, cinnamon, and alcohol. You’ll find a variety of charts, lists, graphs, and other resources to help you take control of your diet (and therefore your condition).
I have gone to a lot of effort to make “Toma’s Diabetic Diet ” comprehensive. And best of all, it is available as a free 176-page PDF file. I urge you to download it and read it. It will help you to take charge of your diet, your exercise, and your health.
